Gary enjoyed fishing in the bay, hunting, watching the Eagles, Flyers, and Penn State football, the music of the Four Seasons, and excursions to Atlantic City.
Predeceased by his wife of 23 years, Eleanor Aurand along with his sister, Joyce Seasholtz and brother, John Aurand. He is survived by his sons, Timothy and his wife, Christine of Woodstock, GA, Trent and his wife, Lisa (grandchildren Trent Jr. and Taylor) of Annandale, NJ, daughter Nicole Aurand and her husband Kristian Pulz of Beach Haven, NJ, along with his brother, Donald Aurand and his wife, Charlotte of DuBois, PA and sister-in-law Terry Aurand of Jersey Shore, PA.
A Viewing will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 1119 Long Beach Blvd., Ship Bottom, NJ (corner of 12th Street and the Boulevard). Burial will follow at Barnegat Memorial Cemetery, 742 West Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's name may be made to the Beach Haven First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 1291, Beach Haven, NJ 08008.
