Gary was born in Cape May Court House, NJ and resided in Flemington. He was a graduate of The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey and the Academy of Culinary Arts. After working as a chef out of culinary school, Gary worked in restaurant management for many years.
Gary's greatest joy was his family, especially his two daughters, Hailey and Rylin. He also loved spending time at the beach, family get-togethers with spirits flowing and his beloved Eagles. Gary was a gentle, kind, loving soul who will be profoundly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Surviving are his two daughters, Hailey Laine Baker and Rylin Nicole Baker, a brother, Daniel Baker (Karol), and a sister, Julia Baker Hanapole (Edward).
