Timothy "Tim" Kelly, a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and proud Army veteran, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born in Plainfield, Tim grew up in Branchburg before settling in Raritan in 2005. A 1974 graduate of Somerville High School, Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army. After the army, he began his career at Storr Tractor Company in Branchburg and later worked for Rath Gibson, where he remained until his retirement in 2012.

In his younger years, Tim loved to travel. He was known for his witty sense of humor. You could always count on him for a laugh, joke or a good story. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, camping, and music, and his appreciation for a good hamburger. He was also a lifelong New York Giants fan. Above all, he cherished time with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Beverly Kelly (2020); his father, John Kelly, Sr.; and his brother, John Kelly.

Tim is survived by his loving mother, Bernadine Kelly; his sons, Shawn Kelly and wife Julie; and Todd Kelly and wife Katie; his sister, Mary Kay Kelly; and four grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, Maggie, and Marcus.

Prayers will be offered at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave., Somerville, followed by a 9:30a.m. funeral mass at St. Joseph RC Church, Raritan. Interment will take place at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
