Gary Lee Burr

Gary Burr, 57, loving husband of Donna Burr and dedicated father of two passed away on June 18, 2022 due to a tragic accident.
Gary was born in Trenton, NJ to mother Joan Burr and the late Gary Burr Sr.
He met his wife Donna in 1980 when they became high school sweethearts. They married in 1984 and raised two daughters.
Gary was an Army Veteran. Immediately upon discharge Gary became employed with McMaster-Carr Supply Co., where he went on to work for 34 years.
As a father he was protective, loving, and supportive. He provided his daughters with guidance and cherished every moment with them.
Gary first became a pops eleven years ago. He was recently blessed with two additional grandchildren.
In his free time Gary loved to Walleye fish on Lake Erie, ride his Harley, travel, and most of all relax with his wife and friends at his summer home. Gary had a love for music and a good bourbon.
He will be greatly missed by his wife and two daughters: Laura and Amanda who adore him with all their hearts.
Gary is survived by his wife Donna (nee Wille), daughter Laura (Brian) Lapars, and Amanda (David) Hayden, grandchild Ava Burr, Kaisley Hayden, Ayden Lapars, mother in law Carol Grabert, and his devoted dog Libby.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Johnson Romito Funeral Home, 99 W Aurora Rd (Rt. 82 1 mile west of Rt.8), Northfield Center, OH 44067.
Please join the family for food and drinks immediately following at the Streetsboro American Legion Post 685, 10001 Aurora Hudson Rd., Hudson, OH 44236.
In honor of Gary being an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan please wear Eagles attire or colors.
