Gary Eugene Eiland

Gary Eugene Eiland, 52, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Piedmont Columbus Regional in Columbus, Georgia.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home 3738 US 431N Phenix City, AL, with Bug Eiland officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Gary was born in Phenix City, AL, the son of Leonard "Boyd" Eiland and the late Barbara Coggins Getscow. He was the owner of A to Z Pools. Gary loved anything outdoors especially fishing which was his passion. Gary was known for his cooking/grilling abilities which will be missed by all. He had a passion for animals and many breeds of animals could always be found around his home. Gary also enjoyed mixed martial arts particularly Jiujitsu. Above all, he was most passionate about his family. He loved spending family time and doing activities with his wife, children and grandchildren.
In addition to his father, Gary is survived by his wife of 11 years Tandee Johnson Eiland; two daughters Haley Eiland and Kayla Shows both of Phenix City, AL; two sons Justin Eiland and Kodi Shows (Jodi) of Phenix City, AL; four sisters Stacey Eiland, Kathy Jones, Denise Copeland (Jim), all of Phenix City, AL and Gwyen Kelley (John) of Boaz, AL; four brothers DeWayne Eiland (Angela), Bobby Eiland (Toni) both of Phenix City, AL, Lyn Eiland (Michelle) of Salem, AL and Leonard Boyd Eiland of Panama City, FL; one grandson Axel Eiland and many other family members, friends and coworkers.
