Gary J. Huether, 82 of Camby, passed away on October 21, 2024. He was born on December 13, 1941 in Fargo, North Dakota, to the late Doris Lorraine (Walock) and Adolph Casper Huether. Gary married Elaine M. Heck on February 14, 1964 in Langdon, ND. They are members of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Greencastle. He worked in many different professions but mainly in logistics. Gary loved cars, classic cars, muscle cars and all types of racing. He enjoyed watching sports especially basketball. Most recently he found comfort in listening to his wife read the Bible to him. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Elaine M. Huether of Camby; children, Tony J. Huether (Caren) of Aiken, SC, Teryna L. Wyskochil of Cary, IL, Tristian E. Huether (Rachelle) of Plainfield; siblings, Karen Strasser (Wendell), Eldon Huether (Barbara), Kathleen Hay (Patrick), all of Sun City, AZ., Randy Huether (Emily) of Lisbon, ND, Bonita Olson of Minneapolis, MN; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and one on the way. His parents and sister, Rita Fenton, preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 02, 2024 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the service time in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mission Trakaye at www.missiontrakaye.org
