Gary Michelkamp

Gary, a life-long resident of the Stevens Point area, died on May 31st, 2023 due to complications from battling cancer. Born on June 29th, 1957, he was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Loretta, his brother Randy, and niece Amy. He is survived by his wife, Tina, his children, Jason, Miranda (Erik), his siblings, Sally, Faye (Leroy), Jane, Kurt, Sandy (Don), his two granddaughters, two nephews, and one niece. In his early years, Gary learned the trade of masonry from his grandfather, August. He used these skills and his creativity while working in construction and masonry most of his life. He will be remembered as someone who was easy to smile, laugh, and to have fun. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed rooting for the Brewers and the Packers.
