Gary Morstad Obituary
Born on December 16, 1942, in Minot, North Dakota, he was the son of the late Lyle Irvin Morstad and Edith Mae Morstad. Gary proudly served in the U. S. Navy before retiring from the U.S. Navy as a Senior Chief. He continued his service with the Federal Government as a Civil Servant and retired as a Supervisory IT Specialist as the Chief of the Information Technology Branch.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Clara Morstad; daughters Marsha Morstad and Terri Morstad; 3 grandsons, Robert (Brittany) Hunsberger, Ross Hunsberger, Royce Hunsberger; great-grandsons, Carter and Reid.
A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held from 2PM to 4PM on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. A private interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
