Survived by: children; Harley, Jason, Faith & Reagan (mother, Desiree Pope), parents; Robert Pickering and Olga Pickering, siblings; Cloe Yeager (husband Trevor, child, Haven), Monica Gutierrz (preceded in death). And, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Work family at Providence BioMed, Anchorage, AK.
Gary you are so deeply loved by so many. We will all celebrate you with the same gusto with which you lived your life. You served you Country with Honor. Awards: Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Valorous Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal Campaign Star (2nd Award), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award) & Combat Action Badge.
Amazing father, son, and friend to all he met. Those who knew him & loved him are better for it.
