Geneva Jean Fowler (Jennie, Arky), 73 of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away March 4, 2022 at CHI St Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR.
Geneva was an LPN in her early years and later in life owned two businesses, Nails by Arky and Craft's by Arky, and also an Honorable Kentucky Colonel. She loved sewing, quilting, crafts, reading and puzzles. The biggest achievement she has always said is her three boys Jerry, Richard, and Todd Thacker, the joys of her life.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kelly Thacker; brothers: Ernest Jackson, Jr. and Roy Lee Yates; sisters: Charlene Ketchum, Cathy Logan, Mary Logan, Jennifer Jarrell, Brenda Kay Shinkle; six grandkids, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Walter Steven Fowler, Her Parents; Roy Yates, Ernest and Shirley Jackson, and her lovable fur baby cat Pooh bear.
Geneva was born in Hot Springs, AR went to Hot Springs High, and Graduated from Mt Pine,
Service will be at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center (2529 Airport Road) on Monday March 14th with visitation at 2:00PM and service starting at 3:00PM. She will be transported to Evansville, IN to be laid to rest alongside her husband at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery with a graveside memorial on Friday March 18th at 2:00PM.
The family would like to thank the Covid ICU nursing staff At CHI St Vincent, Hot Springs, for all that they did for our Mother (Mom truly loved you girls). We would like to say a special thank you, with the biggest hug to Natalie (Kathryn) Bryan, for her heart felt, and professional attendance to our mother during her final moments. We will never forget you. Even with tears pouring from her eyes, she did her job!
