Geneva M. Snyder

HALIFAX - Geneva M. Snyder, age 96, of, died January 12, 2023, at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born on September 5, 1926 in Timberville, VA the daughter of [the late] Andrew Wilt and Aurilla (Mongold) Wilt. She was one of 9 siblings.
Geneva was the widow of Arthur Snyder, Sr. they were married for 55 years.
She had worked during WWII for Bethlehem Steel, Steelton as a track cleaner. She also was a nurses aid for the former Kepler Home Inc, Elizabethville and former Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg. Geneva also worked a short time for Willits Shoe Factory, Millersburg. Her last employment before she retired and her favorite workplace was working at a machinist for the former Keystone Reamer and Tool Co., Millersburg. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Arthur (Debra) Snyder Jr., Halifax and Terry Snyder, Halifax; Grandchildren, Nathan, Terry Jr, Andrew, and Cody, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
There will be a viewing held at Matamoras Bible Church 3267 Peters Mountain Road, Halifax, PA 17032 on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. Services will start at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Deitrich officiating. Burial will follow the services at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
