Genia Lee White left this earth on September 7, 2023 at her home. She was born on October 1,1967 in Lafayette, Indiana to Robert Purdue and Sandra Waltz. She graduated from Washington High School in 1986. Genia enjoyed watching NASCAR, writing poems, listening to music, being spiritual and anything to do with cats. She loved spreading positive vibes, remembering the good ol' days and being silly.
She is survived by three of her children, Chelsea Daffron, Cassidy Daffron, and Brayton White; her father, Robert Purdue; her step-mother, Lydia Purdue; her brother, Rick Purdue and his wife April; her step-sister Rachel Sullivan; her half sister Amanda Purdue; her step-brother, Jesse Sullivan; her grandchildren, Leah Daffron and Dawson White; her boyfriend, John King and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy Waltz, and her son, Christopher Daffron.
Genia was a loved mother, daughter, sister, grandma, life partner & friend. She will be missed by all.
Genia had a passion for animals. In lieu of flowers and donations, pet food and monetary donations can be made to humane societies and local animal shelters as one of her last wishes. There will be no services at this time. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Genia.
