Mrs. Gennie Sue Sims Williamson, 74, of Locust Grove, passed away, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at her home.
Mrs. Williamson was born August 30, 1951, in Griffin, and lived most of her life in Clayton, Henry, and Spalding counties. A graduate of Griffin Technical College, she retired after working as a licensed practical nurse in hospitals and nursing homes.
Survivors include her children, Steven Williamson, Jason Williamson, Mandy Olsen, Melinda Williamson, and Cindy Strange; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Steve Williamson.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. The family will greet friends at the cemetery.
