George W. Belfield passed away peacefully on March 31, 2023. He was 91 years old. George is survived by his loving children, George M. Belfield, Stephen Belfield (Pattianne), Sheila Sturges (George), Francis Belfield (Paula), Jeanne Belfield, Anthony Belfield (Rhonda), and Danny Belfield (Cathy); 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Sicilia, and Hilda Sperduto; and many nieces and nephews. George is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beatrice; and daughter, Maureen.
George was a longtime volunteer at Churchville Nature Center.
Relatives and friends ae invited to George's Life Celebration on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966. A memorial mass will begin at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's name may be sent to Churchville Nature Center, 501 Churchville, PA 18966.

My condolences go out to George's family. I first met George in the fall of 2017 at the Churchville Nature Center when I started volunteering as part of the grounds crew. He was a mentor to me and showed me the finer points of woodworking along with how to do things the right way. I'll always have fond memories of working with him in George's Lair.

George was a beloved member of the CNC family and he will truly be missed by all who knew him. His lasting impact on the Nature Center and his friends there, will never be forgotten. He was a wonderful giving man, a legend for sure!
