George W. "Butch" Bertoldo

In Taunton, November 7, 2024 George W. "Butch" Bertoldo husband of Sandra (Tardie) Bertoldo died at Morton Hospital suddenly at the age of 77. Born in New Bedford, George was the son of the late George and Olive (Sylvia) Bertoldo. George was a graduate of New Bedford High school class of 1965. He was a retired construction laborer for the Laborers International Union local 876. He was a lifetime member of the P.A.C.C. in Taunton, Club Madeirense SS Sacramento in New Bedford. George had a love for Aruba, camping, NASCAR, Patriots and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was the step father of Kim Wade and her husband Brian of East Taunton and Wendy Blackwell of East Taunton. Step grandfather of Erin Hernandez, Ryan Wade, Caitlyn Silva, Jordan Wade, Kylie Blackwell, Kaci Blackwell and Logan Wade. Step great grandfather of Austin, Jaxton, Jace, Conor and Colin. Brother of Richard Bertoldo and his wife Robin of Fall River. Calling ours will be held at the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Tuesday, November 12th from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton at 11 AM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
