George Anthony Cavaliere

George Anthony Cavaliere of Mahopac, NY passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the age of 78. He was born at home in Manhattan on October 20, 1943, the son of George and Christina (Leonardo) Cavaliere.
George was a retired fuel oil truck driver for MB Trucking in the Bronx, NY.
George had an amazing sense of humor, he loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed fishing, boating, cruising, gardening, watching wrestling and listening to the Oldies. You could always find him tinkering with something in the garage.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou of Mahopac; his children, Vivian (Robert), Antoinette (Jason), Lucinda, Gabriel, Joseph (Tammy), Mario, Marialena and Victoria; his brother, Joseph Cavaliere and sisters, Florence Racchi and Christine Vicari; his grandchildren Bobby, Eric, Katherine, James, Jadynn, Giovanna, Olivia, Arihanna, Gabriella, Jason, Mason, Izabella and great grandson, Luke. He is predeceased by his son, Anthony; brothers, Frank and Daniel and sisters, Anna Loizza, Mary Narducci and Antoinette Carrion, his stepson Poul Anthony and his granddaughter, Sophia.
Private cremation services were held earlier. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 225 East Lake Blvd., Mahopac. Interment of his cremains will follow at Ballard-Barrett Cemetery, Mahopac Falls, NY.
