George Eash Obituary

Born in Johnstown on November 21, 1951, he was the son of the late Merle Sr., and Thelma (Blough) Eash. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Conflict. George was the former owner of Eash's Towing & Salvage in Fredericksburg and a local racecar driver. He was well known in his community, and he was loved by many for his kind heart and his willingness to help anyone.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children: Robert (Amy) Bossinger, Richard Bossinger, Terri Seavey Confer, Holly (David) Bomberger, Melissa (Chris) Confer, Tiffany Wagner and Adam Eash; and seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be no viewing on Monday. Following the service, interment with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to his favorite charity, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, at www.afsp.org/carlisle.

This sweet gentleman was the winner of the WeiseGirls trophy last fall at Hilltop Playground for the coolest paint job. He was so proud of his gorgeous car. Rest in peace

A Marine has passed away today. George, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow Vietnam Veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow war veteran.
