George Hodapp Obituary
November 2, 1940 - March 21, 2023
George F. Hodapp IV, age 82, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023. George was an Air Force Veteran, and a Millwright, retired from Ford Motor Co. He was also a Ham Radio enthusiast, K80PV, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
George is survived by his wife of 22 years, Karen (nee Barta); children, George Hodapp V (Amy), Patricia Ebling (Michael Bull), Walter Suschuk (Jennifer), and Kelly Suschuk (Charles Leftridge); ten grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George III & Vivienne; and sister, Margaret Kelly.
The family will receive friends at St. Colette Church, 330 W. 130th Street, Brunswick, on Wednesday, March 29 from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am. Inurnment will then take place at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, Seville, Ohio. Following the Inurnment, family and friends may gather at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 349 Pearl Road, Brunswick from 2:30 – 7:30 pm for a Celebration of George's life.
