George was a wonderful story teller and though often and usually telling jokes and being funny his stories and real talk were special and history telling. Of everything I knew of George though I didn't know him long years as many others he was without a doubt a great protector and guardian of his grandkids and family and boy did he sure love them they meant the world to him. When he had his heart surgery and couldn't drive but finally was cleared to drive months later he wouldn't because he had fear of ever causing harm to another person if he wasn't ok or he had slow reaction or another issue that caused an accident. To me that all is the definition of a caring and good human. To my dear friend I'd never have expected to befriend as polar opposite in many ways but became friends somehow anyway through Jonnets rest in peace George. Love, Libby

Sorry to hear of George´s passing. I knew him from the Jonnet flea market for about 20 years. We always ribbed each other, but it was always in fun. Won´t be the same there without him. Condolences to his family and friends and I thank you for your service to your country. Godspeed George.
