Georgia A. Bronk
February 4, 1951 – December 28, 2024
Exeter, NH
Georgia A. Bronk, 73, of Exeter, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at her home on December 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 4, 1951, in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Yvonne (Lewis) Morrissette.
Georgia grew up in Exeter, where she was one of three daughters. A proud graduate of St. Michael School and Exeter High School's Class of 1969, she cherished her childhood years spent in this close-knit community. From a young age, Georgia had a deep love for animals, particularly her beloved horse, and she enjoyed the thrill of amateur horseback riding.
On September 2, 1972, Georgia married Frank H. Bronk Jr., the love of her life. Together, they built a home in Brentwood, full of love and laughter, raising three daughters who brought her immeasurable joy. Georgia was a devoted homemaker and found fulfillment in caring for her family, ensuring that their home was always a place of warmth, comfort, and unconditional love.
As her daughters grew older, Georgia transitioned to part-time work in food service, contributing to the Exeter and Newton school districts. She became a beloved figure to many, known for her kindness, hard work, and genuine care for others.
Anyone who knew Georgia understood her unwavering devotion to the Boston Red Sox. Her loyalty to the team was unmatched, and she never missed watching a game. Her love for the Sox was more than just a hobby-it was a passion that connected her to her family and her community. She also cherished the memories made over the years at Lake Winnipesaukee, where she and her family spent countless summers. Whether boating, swimming, or simply enjoying the beauty of the lake, these moments will forever hold a special place in her heart. Another cherished spot was Boothbay Harbor, Maine, the hometown of her late mother, where Georgia created lasting memories with her family.
Georgia's greatest joy, however, was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Frank H. Bronk Jr.; her daughters and their families, including Shelley and Todd Lariviere, Kimberly and Michael Pelletier, and Lindsay Bronk; and her three beloved grandchildren, Brayden, Olivia, and Ellie. She is also survived by her sister, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will miss her dearly.
Georgia's kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, and she will forever be remembered for her deep devotion to her loved ones and her vibrant spirit.
Calling hours will be held on December 30, 2024, from 5pm to 7pm at Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, NH.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 10am at Exeter Cemetery.
