Gerald Youts Obituary

Gerald was born February 2, 1937 in South Bend, to the late Edward L. & Virginia (Danielowicz) Youts. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Charles (Chubb) Youts and his step-father, Frank Harsanyi.
Left to cherish the memory of Gerald is his loving wife of nearly 65 years, Arline (Bogunia) Youts; along with their children, Randall (Kelly) Youts, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Youts, Shelley Kajzer; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Gerald attended Washington High School and was a member of the Jokers. He retired from United Beverage in 1999. He was previously employed with the St. Joseph County Sherriff Department and previously owned Jerry & Chubb's Tavern for 15 years. He was a member of the M R Falcons, Breezer's Club, West Side Democratic Club. Gerald enjoyed going to the lake and trips to Vegas, gambling, Notre Dame Football, and the South Bend Cubs.
Per the family, there will be no services. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. St. Joseph Funeral Home is also assisting the family with arrangements.
