Geraldine Diane Baden

Geraldine Baden, age 86, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, passed away on June 26, 2025, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William N. Baden; her mother, Florence Grufman; her father, Dennis W. Grufman; and her brother, Neil Grufman.

She is survived by her nieces Tricia Lowe, Tracie Grufman; her great-niece Taylor Lowe; her great-nephew Tristan Lowe; her sister-in-law Irene Vallareal; and family friend David Christenson.

Gerry was a native of St. Paul, Minnesota, and a resident of Diamondhead, Mississippi. She graduated from Central High School in 1956. Before retiring, she worked as an administrator/secretary at The Club in Diamondhead. She and her husband Bill also owned several bowling alleys in Minnesota before settling in Texas and then Mississippi.

As an active and dedicated member of her community, Gerry was part of PEO Chapter U and held various positions.

She loved playing bridge with her friends and going to the casino. Back in the 1970s and 1980s, she was also an accomplished bowler.

Gerry was loved by so many, and she will be greatly missed.

The friends in Diamondhead are like a second family. We want to thank you all for taking such good care of her all these years.
