Geraldine Louise Doyle, 85, of Hagerstown, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at her home.
Born on July 27, 1936 in Leitersburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Mae (Stotelmyer) and Harvey Myers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Nellie Mae Gossard and Joy Lee Klenzing; and her beloved Granddaughter, Lauren Hamby.
Geraldine graduated from Hagerstown High School, class of 1954.
She worked and retired after 27 years from CVS, formerly People's Drug Store as a waitress/Store Associate.
Geraldine was a member of Washington County AMVETS, Post 10. She was an avid reader and enjoyed completing word search puzzles. Geraldine especially loved spending time with her children and Grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Charles Sylvester Doyle, Jr.; Children, Linda Ann Schultz of Jacksonville, FL, Brenda Jean Hamby of Fayetteville, PA, Rodney Lee Hamby and Keith Charles Hamby both of Hagerstown, and Debra Sue Hamby of Williamsport, MD; Grandchildren, Christopher Hamby, Matthew Wayne Hamby, Bethany Burton, Emerson Hamby Price and Jaxon Hamby Price; 2 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Samuel Earl Myers and wife Kay of Maugansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 2 PM at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Family will receive friends one hour prior at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
