Geraldine R "Jerry Richardson" Kabzinski

Geraldine "Jerry" Kabzinski, a lifelong resident of Mishawaka, IN, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on August 25, 2025. Born on March 29, 1942, to Everett and Mary Richardson, she was the embodiment of love, thoughtfulness, and gentleness throughout her life.
Jerry grew up surrounded by a large and loving family, which later expanded through her marriage to the late Richard A. Kabzinski. Together, they nurtured a family that included Debra (Daniel) Carrico, Cathy (Douglas) Reed, Tommy (Donna) Boyd, Richard (Jill) Kabzinski, Rickie (Norb) Rybicki, Kathy (Robert) Fain, and Robert (Shirley) Kabzinski. Also, twenty-six grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren.

Jerry's life was also touched by the memory of her late daughters Frances Kabzinski and Mary Horvath, and son Gregory Boyd. Her siblings, Daniel Richardson, Eugene Richardson, Betty Myers, Marilyn Singleton, Janet Richardson, and Carolyn Moyer, carry forward the family's legacy.

Jerry's passion for butterflies was more than just a hobby; it was a symbol of the transformation and beauty she saw in life's simple pleasures. Her gentle spirit resonated with these delicate creatures, reminding all who knew her of the importance of transformation and growth.
Her absence will leave a void in the hearts of many, but her enduring spirit will flutter in the laughter of her grandchildren and the blooming of every flower her eyes adored. Jerry's impact on those around her was as tender and profound as the flutter of a butterfly's wings, with memories cherished and stories retold with fondness.
As we bid farewell to Geraldine "Jerry" Kabzinski, we celebrate a life so beautifully lived and a heart that so generously loved. Her legacy of love and gentleness will continue to live on through her family and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but eternally held within the hearts of those she loved.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday August 29, 2025, at Palmer Funeral home-Bubb Chapel 3910 N Main St. Mishawaka IN 46545. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 11:00 – 1:00pm. Entombment immediately following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
