Kathy's legacy is carried on by her son, Donald Effrain Jr., and her adored grandchildren, Donny, Tristan, and Ashley. Each of them embodies her nurturing nature, her generosity of spirit, and her zest for life. They, along with her extended family and friends, will hold dear the many lessons she imparted, both in words and through the example of her daily life.
Contributions in memory of Katherine Effrain may be donated to Zion Community Church 211 S. St Peter St., South Bend IN 46617.
An inurnment will take place at Southlawn Cemetery at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel is assisting the family with final arrangements.
