Geraldine Louise Randall, 85, of Castle Rock, passed away on March 18, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her family.
Geraldine was born on September 12, 1939, in Chicago to Robert and Arda Nyberg. She grew up in Chicago before marrying Dale Lowell Randall on June 2, 1962. Geraldine and Dale shared 48 years of marriage until his passing in 2010.
Over the years, Geraldine lived in Illinois, California, and Colorado, raising four daughters.
She is survived by her brothers Robert Nyberg, Gary Nyberg, Wayne Nyberg, and her sister Dianne Nyberg.
She is also survived by her children and their partners: Wendi Reedy (Jim Reedy), Deanna Randall (Mike McGuire), Susan Fosco (Rich Fosco), and Kari Hernandez (Bryant Hernandez).
Additionally, Geraldine is survived by ten grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Randall, her parents: Robert and Arda Nyberg, and her siblings: Carol Lorman, Doris Sheehan, Phyllis Malmin, and Linda Henning.
Throughout her life, Geraldine was known for being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she brought joy, laughter, and energy to every room she entered. Always full of life, she was ready to laugh and be playful.
Geraldine had a passion for travel, with a special love for both the mountains and the ocean. She also had a deep affection for her dog, Lizzie, and was often seen taking her for car rides or walking her through the neighborhood.
A celebration of Geraldine's life will be held this spring, with the date to be determined.
