Geraldine Delores Scaduto

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Geraldine ("Gerry") Scaduto, who embraced life with a remarkable vigor until the age of 96. Surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, she departed on December 27, 2023.
Gerry was a beacon of love and joy, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her unwavering zest for life inspired those around her and created lasting memories filled with laughter and love.
Survived by her devoted daughter Diane (Rick), grandchildren Kristen (Jason) and Ricky and great-grandchildren Alexander and Xavier, Gerry leaves behind a legacy of resilience, warmth, and kindness. Her wisdom and unconditional love will continue to resonate through the many lives that she touched. Gerry was predeceased by her husband John and son Johnny.
May her memory serve as a reminder to embrace each moment with the same passion and joy that she did.
A memorial service to honor Gerry's life will be held on December 30 at Christ the King Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Michael J. Fox Foundation in Gerry's memory.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29th from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. She will lie instate on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of her funeral service at 10:00 am at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 20338 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods.
