Gladys ("Jeff") Lazarow passed away on March 27, 2025 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was 96. She is preceded in death by her loving husbands Nelson Lackritz and Theodore (Ted) Lazarow. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Wendy Darling, Karen Lackritz, and Eve Lackritz; her five grandchildren and their spouses; and four great grandchildren.
Jeff was born in New York to immigrant parents, who had escaped Hungary in the midst of economic instability and looming pogroms. At age 13, her family moved to Ohio which ultimately became her lifetime home. After raising her three daughters, Jeff went back to college where she completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Cincinnati and Master of Social Work at the University of Louisville. Following graduation, she worked as a family therapist with Jewish Family Service of Cincinnati.
Jeff was a vivacious, engaging, and social person, an avid reader who was involved in community affairs, the arts, and an active member of Cincinnati's Jewish community. She lived a full life with friends, dinner parties, bridge club, tennis, golf, and travel. Her final years were treated with dignity and respect for a life well lived.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 10:00AM at United Jewish Cemetery of Montgomery, 7885 Ivygate Lane Montgomery, Ohio 45242.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.

I worked for Jeff for about 22 years and had lots of good conversations about her girls and grandkids. She will be missed
