Gladys (Clemens) Zawicki, 92, of Mt. Cobb received her wings on March 19th, 2025, passing at home with her family by her side. She is now at peace.
She was the wife of Albert "Corky" Zawicki who died October 31, 2008. They are now reunited in heaven with their parents; their sons: Albert and Kenneth; and their grandchildren Ann Marie Demuth and Michael Zawicki.
Gladys was a member of St. Eulalia's Church. She was employed for a short time at the Jefferson Elementary School. She was the greatest Mom and Gram ever. Spending most of her time with all these kids. She loved all the taxi times for baseball practices,
games, dance classes, and recitals. However, she still found time for her blueberry picking, and pie baking for family and the St. Eulalia's bake sale. She was also the Queen of Perogie making. She will be dearly missed.
Gladys also asked that we give special thanks to her grandson Pete for the special care he provided as caregiver. Her final wish was "Do not cry, I am now at peace, enjoy your lives and your families."
Surviving are her children: Janet Demuth, of Moscow, Leonard Zawicki of Moosic, Joan Zawicki of Gouldsboro, and Peter Zawicki of Mt. Cobb with whom she resided, and John Zawicki of Jermyn; (17) grandchildren; (23) great-grandchildren; (1) great-great-grandson Demyx; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday March 24th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Eulalia's Church, 214 Blue Shutters Road, Roaring Brook Twp., PA
Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Interment and rite of committal will be conducted at St. Catherines Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o 11 Lions Road Jefferson Twp., PA 18436
