Grace Zawicki Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Grace A. Zawicki on October 31, 2024, at the age of 77.
Born January 25, 1947 to parents Robert W. Thornton and Arlene L. Thornton (Spicer) in Akron, Ohio. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend to all she met. She held these roles with humor, compassion and above all much love.
She could host a party you wouldn’t forget, keep you laughing for hours, looked forward to your call, kept your cards and pictures and always worried about your safety.
Left with many precious memories are her children, Jill (Scott) Johnson and John Zawicki; sisters Barbara Myers (Thornton) and Elizabeth Tudor (Thornton); 4 nieces, including Pamela (Pete) Vanness who was so dear to her, 1 nephew and many great nieces and nephews .
Family and friends are invited for visitation from 1-3 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Billow Funeral Home, 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.
