Glenda June "June Bug" (Douthitt) Page, passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 65, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was born August 20, 1959 in Evansville, IN to the late, William Alfred and Clara Lucille (Zolph) Douthitt.
Glenda was a graduate of F.J. Reitz High School in Evansville. Over the years, she spent her time as a bartender and homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to all kinds of music. Glenda loved shopping for jewelry and watching JTV. She developed a keen eye for spotting quality jewelry and could be found watching cooking shows. Time spent visiting her family was important to her, especially her grandchildren. Glenda made her profession of faith and was baptized as a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Tom Douthitt and Rick Douthitt.
Survivors include her loving husband, Loring Page, whom she married February 14, 2017, after spending years of companionship since 1999. She will be missed by her beloved daughter, Manda (Pickerill) Strong; brother, Robert L. "Bob" Douthitt; sister, Kay Kingsbury; two grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Michael Thomas McDowell and wife, Lisa, and John Richard McDowell; and a number of nieces, nephews and a host of "adopted children" everywhere she went.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 9, 2025 in Black's Cemetery with Rev. Matt Watson officiating.
