Glenda Jean (nee Shockley) Vach, age 86, passed away Feb 5, 2023.
Glenda was born in St Louis, MO, July 26,1936 to Rev. and Mrs. Lester E. Shockley. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Fahy H. Vach of St Charles, MO her children, Karen Vach of O'Fallon, MO and Keith Vach of St Louis County, and her sister Becky Ferrell (David) of Lincoln, CA. Also surviving are her grandchildren Krista Kovach, Adam Tucker(Melissa), Matthew Kortum and Kimberly Kortum, Randy Vach and Brittany Seitrich(Brett), along with great- grandchildren, Madison & Ryder Kovach, Gage, Logan, Chase & Josie Tucker, Carter Kortum, Hunter & Skyler Kortum, Landon & Kylie Vach, Ethan & Olivia Seitrich.
Her father being a minister, church was always a big part of her life where she played the piano and organ for over 30 years. Glenda enjoyed outdoor activities and loved boating and a home at the Lake of the Ozarks and Florida for many years.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 12:00 pm service time on Tuesday Feb. 21,2023 Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center

A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00 PM conducted by Rev. Barry Ivie.
In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
