Glenn A. Berg

Glenn A Berg of Teaneck passed on August 7, 2024, he was 83 years old. Born in Hackensack, Glenn was raised in Teaneck NJ and graduated from Teaneck High School in 1958. Glenn then joined the US Naval Reserves, and then enlisted in the US Army where he proudly served in the 7th Infantry Division Military Police Company from 1959 – 1964. Following his military service Glenn worked in landscaping and then went to work for NJ Bell (later Verizon) where he had a long career as a Field and Test Desk Technician. Glenn retired from Verizon after 33 years and was a loyal member of the IBEW Local 827. Glenn was a loyal friend that brought love, laughter and joy to all that knew him. He will be sorely missed. Glenn was predeceased by his parents, Gunnar and Glenna C (nee Conklin) and his brother Robert C. Glenn is survived by dear friends Robert J Flanagan Jr and family, and Jason Ochoa.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Volk-Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck, NJ. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Township of Washington. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to FOCAS (Helping Homeless Animals in Bergen County).
