Eugene F. Iaconetti

Eugene F. Iaconetti, age 101, resident of Teaneck, NJ entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2025. His wife, Frances, passed away in 2015. Devoted father of late, Michael L. Iaconetti and his wife, Linda; Diane M. Iaconetti; Richard Iaconetti and his wife, Diane L.; and Lorraine Walsh and her husband, James. He is survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps WWII and witnessed the famous flag raising on Iwo Jima. Upon his discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps, he joined the Marine Corps League, Iwo Jima Survivors, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and has been a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1946. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 34 years in Ridgefield and Northvale. Visiting hours will be held from1-4pm on Sunday, August 24th at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on August 25th at St. Anastasia R.C. Church, 1095 Teaneck Road. Teaneck, NJ. Interment to follow at Hackensack Cemetery.
