Gloria was preceded in death by her father and mother Walter and Marie Jacob, her sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Andrew Olson, and her daughter-in-law Denise Boriack.
Gloria was a faithful Christian, wife, mother, sister, and friend who led a wonderful life full of unselfish service to her husband, family, church, and friends. She loved gardening, sewing and was an incredible cook (as Curtis and her three sons will attest to). She also had a special passion for quilting and gifted each of her grandchildren with homemade quilts and made and donated many quilts to World Relief.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and those she served with.

Gloria's gardens were always so beautiful! We loved to swap plants! She gave me this "hidden ginger", I have moved it so many times to different parts of my garden and it comes back where I took it from and does well where I moved it! I get to share it with my friends and share Gloria's love for Jesus as well.
She and Curtis would always come to the Krause Children's Center Open house. Talked for extensive amounts of time with the girls! My fondest memory and one that she even remembered last year was when one of the girls asked her to pray for her and Gloria prayed with her right then and there. What an impact on these fragile young lives, to have someone take the time and to give what was asked.
Gloria blessed my with her love of Christ and has shaped my interactions with others and my generosity.
I am so blessed to have Gloria in my life! She will be missed but I know she is with Jesus, planting flowers!
