Gloria Greene Obituary
Gloria attended Hope Valley Elementary School and Westerly High School. On November 7, 1959 she married Grafton W. Greene in Hopkinton, RI.
Gloria worked for Walmart, American Power and Conversion, Leviton Manufacturing, Victor Electric and Moore's before retiring.
She loved children, dogs, sewing, crocheting and traveling.
Gloria will be sadly missed by her daughters Michele Matteson and Donna Greene, her siblings Ricki Kenyon and Bonnie (Kenyon) Roberts, her grandson Josh and his wife Ashley and granddaughter Jennifer, she also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Kallie, Julie and Jenna.
Besides her husband, Gloria was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Judi Harrington, her siblings Ethel, Nancy, William, Robert, James and Patricia and her granddaughter Felicity Greene.
The family would like to thank Beacon Hospice for all their care and attention.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Rhode Island Veteran Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822. All are welcome to meet at the administration building at the cemetery for 9:45am
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Gloria's name to the National Kidney Foundation at support.kidney.org
