Gloria volunteered for many years at Lemora Park Elementary School, she loved spending time and working with the kids throughout the years. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music, doing word-searches and watching Westerns and Crime shows. Her main passion in life however was dancing and being surrounded by all of her family. From an early age, Gloria was a mother to many, she looked out for everyone and accepted others as her own and showed them love no matter who they were. She will greatly be missed by her all of her family, friends and all those that knew and loved her.
Gloria is survived by her children, Shawn McDonald, Danielle (Darius Ford) McDonald, Stephanie McDonald; grandchildren, Janessa McDonald, Tiara Hilliard, Jordyn McDonald, Demetrius Puckett, Jarvas Gordon, Brenelle Gordon, Sharyla Gordon, Essence Moore, Cameron McDonald, Nyah McDonald, Paris Warren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Franklin D. (Beverly) White, Charles E. White, Sr., William E. (Stella- deceased) White, Ray S. (Gwenda) White, Herman W. White, Michael T. (Sylvia) Neil; sisters, Barbara J. Jones, JoAnn (Jerry - deceased) Johnson, Rita O. Burt and a host of nieces, nephews and all other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Eloise White and brother, Tommy "Jim" J. White.
A memorial service will be held at the Baxter Funeral and Cremation Service on Saturday, April 9, 2022 starting at 11:00 am with Pastor Michael Neil officiating.
