Grace Daniels Obituary
1934-2026
Cameron, Missouri- Grace Marie Daniels, 91, passed away March 9, 2026 at her home
with her family by her side. She was born June 21, 1934 in Cameron, Missouri to Leonard and Lorene (Lohman) Jones.
Grace graduated from Cameron High School. She worked as a bookkeeper and served as the Clinton County Treasurer for several years.
She enjoyed the outdoors, mowing her lawn, dancing to country music and camping.
Grace was a member of the Turney United Methodist Church, Turney Historical Society, and the Missouri County Treasurer Association.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Daniels; siblings, Joe Jones, Emory Jones; and long-time partner, Bob Taylor.
Survivors include her children, Olivia (Ralph) Dale, Kearney, Missouri, Laura Olsen, Cameron, Missouri, and Dr. Thomas (Karrie) Daniels, Ames, Iowa; 9 grandchildren, Amy Cooksey, Lee (Katy) Foster, Trisha (Rusty) Gibson, Jolene (Tracy) King, Kristy (Stacey) Burns, Lindsey Olsen, Lukas (Evan) Daniels-Day, Will Daniels (Abi), and Joanna Wright; 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Carolyn (Bob) Hill, Norwalk, Iowa.
Services: 10:00 am, Monday, March 16, 2026 at Poland-Thompson Chapel.
Visitation: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Sunday, March 15.
Burial in Lathrop Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Turney Historical Society.
