Grace Theresa Mirabella (nee Cusick), 82, of Essex Fells, passed away on March 14, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather for memorial visitation on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 (today) from 4pm through 7 pm in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068, shookfarmer.com. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell. Inurnment will take place on St Patrick's Day, March 17, 2023 at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
Born in Jersey City, she grew up in Roselle Park. For many years, Grace lived in Elizabeth and moved to Florida. In 2007, she settled in Toms River and has been a resident of Essex Fells for the past couple years. Prior to her retirement, she was a realtor in Union County. She also worked in the marketing field. In her spare time, she had a passion for cooking and would cherish the time spent with family. Painting and sewing were a hobby of hers as well as sewing and playing cards.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Patrick and Rose Cusick, her husband, Gennaro J. Mirabella, and sister, Ann Cozzone.
Surviving are her beloved children, Alexander Mirabella (Phyllis), Patrick Mirabella (Donna), Santa Ann Marie Mirabella, and Gennaro Mirabella; loving grandchildren, Alexander, Micayla, Zoe, Joshua, Raquel, and Lily.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, mskcc.org.
