Granville Johnson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Granville Wayne Johnson, who departed this life on November 2, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on May 4, 1954, in Guilford County, North Carolina, his life was a testament to dedication and quiet strength.

Wayne spent his years working as a mechanic at Box Board Productions, where his expertise and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on those he worked alongside. His hands were calloused by years of hard work, but they also built a life full of love and loyalty.

He was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Neal Johnson and Mildred Gloria Lee Johnson, whose memory he held dear throughout his life. Wayne is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Ly Johnson, who stood by his side through thick and thin, sharing in the joys and challenges that life presented.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Wayne's life at a visitation on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Triad Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel.
