Grayson Ivan Payne, age 6 of Manchester, went running into the arms of Jesus on April 29, 2024. He was born on August 4, 2017, in Winchester, Tennessee to Savannah Frances Cayton and the late Casey Aleister Payne. Grayson was currently attending first grade at College Street Elementary School in Manchester, where he was quick to make many friends. He enjoyed playing all sports especially basketball and football and riding his bike. Grayson loved going to the park to play, the Manchester Rec Center and the Sparta Playhouse. In his spare time and on rainy days you could find him watching Sonic the Hedge Hog and spending time with his brother and sister. Grayson would attend Gateway Church or City Lights Church with his mom and siblings. He will be remembered by everyone as a very sweet, smart, funny and loving boy; who wanted a Lamborghini. Grayson is preceded in death by his father, Casey Aleister Payne and grandfather, Viktor Cayton. He is survived by his mother, Savannah Cayton; brother, Jenson Payne; sister, Melina Payne; grandparents, Claudia Aliaga, Tony Shea, Rick Payne, Pamela Rose and Judy Cayton; aunt, Candice Blackstone; uncles, Nicholas Aliaga, Buster Cayton and Tyler Payne, and cousins, Emberly Payne, Ari Payne Pepper "Tre" Blackstone and Kaylee Blackstone. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
