Gregg Thomas Kritzman, a dedicated husband, friend, and neighbor, passed away on July 7, 2024. Gregg was born on August 23, 1961, in Highland Park, Michigan, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Palmiter) Kritzman.
Gregg had a lifelong passion for cars, especially his cherished 1974 Plymouth Duster, a family heirloom that once belonged to his mother. He loved attending hot rod shows and sharing his enthusiasm for classic cars with others.
For 25 years, Gregg worked as a machinist and manager at Westco Metalcraft in Livonia. His expertise and hard work made him a respected figure in his field and a reliable go-to person in the neighborhood for fixing anything that needed repair.
An outdoorsman at heart, Gregg enjoyed camping and fishing. He and his wife, Denise, spent many weekends exploring various campgrounds across Michigan in their camper, creating lasting memories together.
Gregg met his loving wife Denise through a mutual friend and the two were married at the Little Wedding Chapel in Taylor, Michigan. They shared just short of 23 years of marriage, supporting each other through life's ups and downs.
Gregg's willingness to help others and his down-to-earth nature made him a beloved member of his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Gregg. Your legacy of hard work, kindness, and love for family will be remembered always.
Gregg is survived by his loving wife, Denise Kritzman; siblings, Richard (Jane) Kritzman, Diane (Patrick) Molloy, Anita Meredith, Geri (Mark) Schoening, and Mary Lee (Chris) Murley; sisters-in-law, Donna Bailey, Debbie (Chris) Dufour, and Darlene Kritzman; many nieces and nephews; and adored cats, Sophie, Sadie, and Sienna.
Gregg is preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Kritzman; and brother-in-law, Brian Bailey.
Please keep Gregg and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
