Gregory Baldon

With a spirit as lively as a game-winning touchdown, Gregory Scott Baldon, better known as "Dad" or "Coach," danced into the end zone of life on August 18, 2024. Born on November 29, 1972, in Baytown, Texas, Greg spent his life inspiring others with his smart, spirited, and supportive nature.
Greg was a teacher and coach, for an impressive 34 years, yet his influence extended far beyond the classroom walls. He was also a cherished motivational speaker for corporations, where he helped illuminate the path to success for many. His passion for education was only rivaled by his love for sports, particularly golf and football. He was an avid fan of the underdog, always seeing the potential in those who couldn't see it within themselves. As Henry Ford once said, "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't-you're right." Gregory lived by these words, pushing others to believe in their capabilities and strive for their best.
Despite his numerous accomplishments and the countless lives he touched, what mattered most to Greg were his two daughters, Brooke and Brynn Baldon. His love for them was boundless and they were the true champions of his heart. He is survived by his daughters and his mother, Ronnie Baldon; ex-wife and friend Tiffany Baldon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. His beloved grandparents, Dorothy and Harlan Baldon, have welcomed him with open arms in the next life.
As we fondly remember Greg, let us celebrate his inspiring life and the light he brought into ours. His infectious spirit will forever echo in the laughter shared, the goals achieved, and the lives he touched.
