Gregory William "Greg" Bruno, 79, longtime resident of Lindenhurst, NY, and Saratoga Springs, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on September 26, 2025. Born on January 21, 1946, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Salvatore Bruno and Elizabeth Brown Bruno.

Known to all as Greg, he was a proud 1963 graduate of Lindenhurst Senior High School. He dedicated 30 years of service to the Long Island Railroad, retiring as a Senior Internal Auditor.

Greg had a lifelong passion for automobiles, particularly sports cars and classic cars. He also loved a good martini and enjoyed sharing one with friends and family, always ready with a laugh, a story, or a witty remark. Known for his humor, wisdom, and warmth, he brought joy to everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carole Potts Bruno; his daughter, Victoria Finley and her husband, Steve; his son, Alexander Bruno and his wife, Christine; and his granddaughter, Gianna Bruno. He also leaves behind three sisters, Maria, Janet, and Laura, who will cherish his memory.

Greg will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kind heart, his laughter, and the countless memories he created with those he loved.
