Gregory Alan Durrwachter Jr., of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 16th, 2023. Gregory was only 32 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Gregory was born on October 27th, 1990, in St. Louis, Missouri, to parents Joan and Greg Durrwachter.
He was the beloved son of Greg (Joan) Durrwachter. Dear brother of Heather and Christy Durrwachter. Adoring love of Bree Anderson. Loving grandson of the late Eugene and Jane Groene, and the late John and Dorothy Durrwachter. He was also a wonderful nephew, cousin, and friend.
Gregory went to the University of Central Missouri, where he met the love of his life Bree. After college, they moved to Kansas City, Missouri, for five years, but then eventually moved back home to St. Louis. He worked as a manager in logistics at Didion-Orf Recycling, a job he loved and was respected at. He most recently switched jobs and was working at National Flatbed Solutions, LLC.
Gregory was intelligent, fun-loving, and very handsome. He was always smiling and cared about how he dressed. He loved shopping for shoes and watches. Gregory was a hard worker, and his parents always found a way to put his muscles to use. He loved spending his weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks with his family, floating in the water with good drinks and music. He enjoyed watching horror movies with Bree, loved his cats Oliver and Jinx, R/C cars, paintball guns, and Xbox. Gregory enjoyed a good concert every now and then and especially liked the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, and Dave Matthews Band. Gregory didn't need to travel the world to have fun. If he was with Bree, family, or friends, he was completely content.
A visitation, mass, and luncheon is being held for Gregory on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 starting at 9:00 in the morning with Mass beginning at 11 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church-1424 First Capitol Dr., St. Charles, MO 63303.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to Know More Inc.
