Gregory L. Jones

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Gregory Lee Jones, Sr. announces his passing. Gregory was the loving, supportive, and devoted husband of Vanessa (Grimes) Jones.
Gregory was born in York PA on October 27, 1952, to May (Bowens) Jones and the late Melvin Jones, he was one of ten children born to this union.
Greg was a William Penn Senior High School graduate, class of 1971. He furthered his education at Cheyney State which is now Cheyney University. During his years of employment he worked for Sylvania; some of his hobbies and special interests was basketball, track and field, and fishing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife Vanessa and his mother Momma May, he leaves to mourn his loss but cherish his memories a son Gregory D. Jones wife Brenda Garcia-Jones; two daughters Nicole J. Jones and Natia L. Jones: siblings Melvin R. Jones, Tony A. Jones, Sr. wife Rhonda, Danny O. Jones, Juanita E. Redman, Linda M. Smith, Kim E. Jones, Gail L.Folk husband Timothy, and Sherry W. Jones; grandchildren Capris L. Cora, Armanii Jones, Lorenzo Jones, Eli'Jah Kauffman, Tia'Janise Benjamin, JaZaryia Benjamin, Syncere Beatty, Janessa Abrantes and Heaven Abrantes; great grandchildren Laila G. Cora and Aria G. Cora; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
