Gregory "Keith" Kirby

Gregory "Keith" Kirby, a resident of Central, La. At the age of 63 entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior on Friday, April 26, 2024 and was healed of his earthly illnesses and struggles. He is survived by his two children whom he loved deeply. Josh Kirby; Brittany Kirby Vince and husband, Chris. He was most proud of his three grandsons, Gavin Kirby, Landon Wegner & Brody Waters, and step-granddaughters Brieana Vince & Samantha Pate. His siblings, brother Vernon Kirby and wife Jamie; Sister and best friend Eugenie McCurry. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many cousins that he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Kirby, Sr. and mother, Anne East, brother John Kirby and brother-in-law Joel McCurry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Charlet Funeral Home in Zachary, LA on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at from 5pm until 8pm. Service to begin at 7pm. His ashes will be laid to rest at a later date with his immediate family. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to The Hospice of Baton Rouge for the love, support, compassion, and amazing care they provided to Keith during his last few months. The inpatient and outpatient staff made it possible for his family to spend these last few months together, making the most of the time they had left. Keith will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
