Gregory S. Repaal, 75, of Clinton, WI, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, in the UW Hospital, Madison, WI.
He was born May 27, 1949, in Eau Claire, WI, the son of Harry and Doris (Hotvedt) Repaal. In 1962, his family moved to Clinton, WI. He was a 1967 graduate of Clinton High School. Greg was also a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard serving from 1968 until 1972. He married Susan (Shull) on August 15, 1970, in First Presbyterian Church, Clinton, WI. Susan predeceased him on July 20, 2016.
Greg was employed for over 42 years by General Motors. He was also a volunteer for the Clinton Fire Department for 20 years. Greg enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, tending to his horses, hunting, fixing motors or anything he could get his hands on, and had a great appreciation for old cars. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include his children, Erick (Erica) Repaal, Amy (Martin) Mumm, Rebecca Repaal-Talton and Brian (Monika) Repaal; grandchildren, Aleah (Tyler), Taeman, Kennedy, Jackson, Alex, Lily, Lauren, KorrieAnn; great grandchildren, Greyson and Denver; sisters, Kathryn (PJ) Schmalz and Krista (Shaun) Eberdt; brothers, Jon (Joan) Repaal and Steve (Diane) Repaal; sisters-in-law, Peggy Repaal; nieces and nephews, and friend, Deb Vevang.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Jeffrey Repaal.
A celebration of Greg's life will be from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025 at The Barn on Prairie 5828 S. County Rd G., Janesville, WI. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the Clinton Clay Busters Trapshooting Club through Clinton High School.
