Guillermo Hernandez Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 26, 2025.
In Loving Memory of our Beloved
Guillermo Hernandez
September 21, 1952 – August 18, 2025
Guillermo Hernandez, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1952, and grew up with seven siblings: two sisters, Mercedes and Anita, and four brothers, Ricardo, Jesus, Miguel Ángel, and Oscar.
A man of strong character and deep sensitivity, Guillermo helped start the company of Tool and Die and took pride in his work. He was passionate about his family, and the simple joys of life-spending time outdoors, working on classic cars with his brother and father, or relaxing in nature. He loved baseball and basketball as a child, was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, and had a lifelong passion for boxing. Music, especially oldies, always filled his home and heart.
Guillermo is survived by his daughters, Karina Ortega and Valerie Lizette Hernandez, and cherished grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and countless friends whose lives he touched.
His family remembers him not only for his strength and determination but also for his generosity, and unwavering love. Guillermo's legacy of love and devotion will live on in all who knew him.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a service at 6:00 p.m. at El Rey Ya Viene Christian Church, located at 9955 Pioneer Ln, 79927. Interment will be at a later date.
