Funeral services are 2:00pm Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lyon, MS. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Rudy served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Kitty Thomas of Clarksdale, MS; sons Christopher Ryan (Harli) Thomas of Taney Town, MD, Dylan Wayne (Santana) Stafford of Lawrenceburg, TN, Adrian Stafford of Oxford, MS; daughters Amber Renee (Chris) Lindsey of Mascot, TN, Nancy Caroline Stafford of Lawrenceburg, TN; mother Fannie Mae Mckee Thomas of Clarksdale, MS; seven grandchildren Christopher Ryan Thomas, Jr., Skyla Amira Thomas, Kyleigh Renee Lindsey, Olivia Grace Lindsey, Kameron Jaco Stafford, Charity Amari Stafford, Dayton Wade Stafford; brother Lawrence Chester (Nicole) Thomas of Byhalia, MS.
Preceded in death by his father Big Rudy Thomas.
